4 people million in NZ. would there be 9 milllion in aus. If so, we have a higher per capita count (that is all that matters).
Any way, at least when our boats snap in half, they dont sink (in re to I think it was 1995 americas cup). But yea, you guys do seem to do better than N.Z. But all i can say is i think we dont do to bad considering our population.

It may be proper to you, but is it really right?

Nice to see the distribution here. Primarily England and the States, but various people representing the other countries.

If someone was going to make a graph of this (the person who created the thread), it would also be interesting to see a per capita result. Because it would be intersting if there are more people or less per capita from the larger countries than the small ones

Fair call. I think I'll be the bigger man and refrain from lowering us to sheep jokes. But then again we've got a lot of sheep over here too don't we.:D

Meh. It's just trans-Tasman rivalry. Nothing to be taken tooooo seriously.

    Baaaaaaa.

Well we are the clean green nation i think every one should. Wops, i forgot, that was 20 years ago. Ok the aussie has one this one. They can claim on something, and keep that claim. And i have just done some google searches, and nz has approx 4mil people, and 19 users on bt, aussei has 20mil, and 40 users, and usa has aprox 290mil and 280 users, ie just under 1 user per 1 million people. I was guite supprised, i thought they would be relatevly even, or larger countries would have more users per capita.

well if you think about it, the larger countries (like the us) are big enough to have built up their own comunities, this being a uk site it makes sense that most people on it would be from the uk

But bit-tech seems to be the best and fairest of the lot as far as I've found (If I'm wrong, I'm wrong). We seem to have some of the best computer mods and a very helpful/friendly community. Any hint of a flame war or overtly deroggatory(sp?) thread and it's instantly shut down by the moderators/admin. It's no wonder that we have such a broad spectrum of members here from all nations/cultures/religions/languages all getting along with a fair degree of harmony (bar the occassional upstart who is promptly shut down).
