Mine's a Pentium MMX 266 with 128Mb of RAM, a 5Gb hard disk, an ol' Soundblaster, some cruddy 3dfx GPU, an Ethernet card, etc; and a lovely stylish steel case....in beige. It is affectionately known by all as "The Turd". And you need the patience of Buddha to use it.
Not me personally, but used to be my family's only computer. Now displays the notices in the foyer of my church. Pentium 133, Windows 98, 1GB hard drive. That's about all I can remember about it. Rock solid, never missed a Sunday's work. It might be going into retirement soon, when we upgrade our entire tech system. It will be sorely missed. _C
Before this week it was my 300mhz webserver, but I got rid of it a few days ago so now it's a 1.1 gig/384MB file/print/webserver.
Good ole 486 laptop wth 500mb hard drive 16mb ram do use it ever though. I sometimes use a Pentium 100mz 32mb ram 500mb hard drive Windows 98(windows xp needs 64mb of ram ) I use it in my dad's woodshop to pull up plans for stuff on the internet and so does he.
800 mhz duron, 512 meg of ram, 80 gig hard drive, graphics etc on board. Utter rubbish, yet handy for backups
Athlon XP 1GHz, 384MB RAM, 32MB nvidia graphics of some sort, 1.04TB HDD's Was running windows ME, now XP its a hell lot faster, still too slow for me as a useable computer, its now just a file server on top of my wardrobe!
The ones at work. They're P4 3.0Ghz generally, but since my dual Opteron 250 everything else seems slow.
does it have to be what you use on a daily basis or can it be just somethin you own? I own a 386 25MHZ 8MB 322MB hardrive do I win?
