AMD K6-2 380MHz 192MB with 20GB + 30GB storage. Happily, albeit slowly, running Win XP Pro at the moment. I just store music on it. When I have the time, I'll be using it to play around in Linux.

Acorn RISC PC 700. Has a ?70MHz CPU and 16 meg of RAM. PC card that in 1993 was a £600 extra is 33MHz 486DX-2 with 16 meg of memory running windows 3.11

I don't use it ALL the time but it's fun to dig it out and have a play :)

The slowest PC in use in my house is my brother's - AMD 200mhz, 64mb RAM, 2gb HDD - runs XP! (very slowly!)

The slowest PC I use personally is my laptop - PII 400mhz, 192mb RAM, 6gb HDD, only use it for wireless web surfing around the house.

I don't understand how you guys say XP is slow on some of the systems, I ran XP on a 133mhz processor, 64mb ram and it ran pretty fast for what it was running on.

On my brothers 200mhz machine you have to wait about 5 mins for XP to start up! Then opening something like IE takes another few minutes to load!

200MHz Pentium (was 100MHz, upgraded a couple days ago)
    pair of 3Com 905B NICs
    32MB EDO RAM
Floppy drive, loaded up with Coyote Linux, and due to missing section of case, mounted internally (real pain to update software. . .).

    Thats the slowest.

The next PC I use which has decent speed is:

    600MHZ Pentium 3
    384MB RAM
    80GB hard-drive
    Radeon 7000
    3Com NIC

Haven't quite decided what this one will be used for, it runs Win2K and Linux pretty good.

I think I have a complete 586 setup lurking somewhere in a dark recess or cupboard....

I've heard that not many of these were ever built right?
