Nothing to do over summer, so decided to get myself a new pc.

Been thinking about components and have decided on the following:

Please tell me if anything doesn't look compatible or if you suggest something else.

Looks very good. The x850xt imo is the better choice unless you plan to sli quite soon as its the best performing single card.

is scan.co.uk still the slightly pricey and bloaty scam as they used to go by? tempt one with slightly lower prices and then charge 10 or more for delivery on something as small as a usb dongle!

Go for a single 1 gig stick if you plan on upgrading to 2 gig in the future. It only makes a small difference but means in 6 months (or whatever) you'll get 2 gig in dual channel :D

Hmm.....looks nice and it got a good review in Custom PC but I don't know.......because I'll be paying about £50 extra for SLI which I don't need because I will be getting the X850xt

I think adambrennan meant it was quite good performance for a reasonable price.
 Thinking of changing the PSU to this

It's quite good as it reduces the build up of wires.....

btw, does the atx2.2 for the psu mean it won't fit into an atx case or does it refer to 24pin mobo connectors?
