Excellent Job, GreatOldOne. Good use of the transparency labels as well. Now I just need to get parts to build my case... oh, and get my girlfriend to give me a weekend off to do something besides spend time with her ;)

Marry her - she'll soon lose interest, and then you're weekends are you're own!:p :D

    Don't tell the missus I said that, though...:worried: ;)

You guys really know how to make others' cases look crappy. Nice job. How did you color those drives and what color did you use? I'm not sure about your epson printer, but is it a Laser printer? I tried printing on transparencies like that on a Deskjet printer (old HP 6xx) and I got "scan lines".

The Epson is an Inkjet, but has a photo quality mode that ups the resolution to 1440 x another large number (Can't rember what).

Drives painted using plasticote aluminum enamel paint, code B30.

I swear I'm really going to stop coming to these forums. Just when I think I've decided on my "new last mod" I see something like this and end up spending more money.

I am blaming all of you when I can no longer afford to buy gas to get to work! :grr:

    BTW, kickazz job man!

Looks good, nice work. Did you consider using the Vandal resistant switches with the LED built in?

Not really, as I'm pretty sure you can only get them with red or green illumination. I'm not sure if you can change the LED either.

    And then there's the price - £4.49 vs £14.79!:eeek:

try using some uv lighted nailpolish or whatever that reflects in UV, do a 'etch' with it on the window and when u light up the uv it will be shown, otherwise it won't (depends on what material used)

I like the idea. Especially of the Imperial Emblem. I think the matter - antimatter reaction is the method of the future for case lighting. Actually....if people don't slow down on the overclocking lighting will not be necessary. The Athlon XP will just glow. :cooldude:

I would def like to see pics of the etch when ur done.
