Modding iPod PC case

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, or whether anyone else has seen this story

I'm in 2 minds as to whether I like this or not? Or whether it has potential for modding?

 

Ill tell you i dont like it. ITs kind of a gimmick. I mean whats the point does anyone really love the front of an ipod that much. As for modding you could paint it or Hmmm let me think cut out the ipod wheel and stick a fan there. The one thing i do like about the case is that the 3.5s look like there covered that is a cool addition.

 

why is there two types of fangrill on the side, it just doesn't look right

looks like a normal case with a fugly front panel. Arent iPods supposed to be known for their sleek design and use of shape. The front panel doesnt even seem to fit that profile. just my $0.02

 

i personally dont think it resembles the ipod that much, its tooo white, no real contrast on it

 

Oh god, say it isn't so. iPods themselves try sooooo hard to be cool and this doesn't even achieve the common love/hate iPod relationship.

 

I hate the look of it but the cd drive looks cool

 

Oh they've stealthed them... nothing new.

 

as a case it looks awful

and as a attempt to make a ipod looking case its also awful

 

£60....they must have had too much Sake!

 

lol... I'm waiting to see the wooden front panel of this case.

 

lol.. or the bullet proof vertion, if the ipod was 500g i wounder how much a entier case would be if it was done out like that. probrably weigh a few ton's

 

The large touchwheel makes it look like a baby toy.

 

no sir- I dont like it.

 

I mean come on the scroll wheel has TWO pause buttons! Do we really need to pause that much?

 

You could put an LCD in front so it would look like a real Ipod =)
