i was trying to find the article for macroblack, but i guess it hasnt been moved to the new site? anyways, i was wondering what kind of window that was used, i think if i remember correctly it was tinted? i want to do something simliar, but i couldn't find the article. can anyone help? thanks
Yes, the window section was tinted with a very dark tint so you could only see through it when the insides were lit up
do you remember what % tint it was? i'm looking on ebay for window tints... but oh which one to get... thanks for the help
thanks cpemma and The_Pope, get moving! haha jk i love this case, macroblack owns. thanks for the help guys--
Buy gray tinted plexiglass, that is what I used for divergence... See avatar... when no light goes through it is effectivly black.
where can i buy grey tinted plexi? do they just sell it at home depot or ace or something? i dont think i've ever seen it
There is a place online you can order it, I will look at the link. Any speciality plastic shop can get it for you, I buy mine in full 8x4 sheets.
Locally I pay 75 USD for a full 4x8 foot sheet... but a 2x4 foot sheet costs nearly 40, it all depends on the size. I pick up locally so I do not have to deal with shipping.
I'm working on it - it's TWENTY ONE pages long There's 1000 lines of text which don't linewrap yet now have to, so I have to backspace at the end of each line There's also 237 photos, 169 of which are the "wrong" aspect ratio for porting, so unfortunately it's going to take a bit longer than most of the other articles. But I'll be sure to let y'all know when it's there - it won't just sneak into the Archives (not after all this work!!)
haha thanks a bunch as for the tinted plexi... 75 USD?! that's a lot. I think i'll just get window tint and scrap plexi :-D thanks for the help though...
