yeah chocolate like cadburies and stuff is all artificial, after you have real chocolate nestle etc tastes like chemicals
From the nestle site: "MILKYBAR Milkybar is a smooth, creamy, white chocolate. It was launched in 1937 and has a heritage of nearly 70 years. Milkybar contains the goodness of full cream milk, with nearly half a pint in every 100g of chocolate. It is trusted by Mums and benefits from its association with goodness, purity and security. The Milkybar kid made his debut in 1961; he celebrated his 40th birthday in 2001!" I think if someone who makes one of the most famous white chocolate bars in the world calls it white chocolate, then there's white chocolate.
i think the swiss stuff i tasted was Lindt. however that stuff is impossible to get here in norway. (stupid norwegians and their milk chocolathe)
White chocolate is actually made from cocoa butter, milk and sugar (cocoa butter is made by getting cocoa liquor (pure processed cocoa beans) and pressing it to seperate it into powder/butter, most chocolate is made from a mixture of these and other ingredients). seeing as cocoa butter is made from processed cocoa beans, i would consider it real chocolate, even though it doesnt contain the cocoa powder. I think the US FDA doesnt consider it real chocolate because it is only made from the cocoa butter. however in the UK it is considered to be one of the many varieties of choc.
Lindt is one of the only good chocolates widely available around me. You can even pick up a giant sack of Lindt truffles from Costco (one of the big warehouse stores) sometimes.
milk chocolate all the way. most dark chocolate are too bitter for my tastes, and I just don't really like the flavor of white much. lindt = pwnage. got one of their stores not too far from where I live, but it's fairly expensive and I'm rarely in that area.
Dark. At least 85% Cocoa content. 70% will do at a push, but is really too weak already. 99% is what I have with my coffee for breakfast.
Galaxy is PPEERRFEECCTT!!!! milk > white > dark although I love all chocolate so it's very close competition! green & black's dark was lovely anyone had fry's choc?
dark. you eat less and it tastes better. green & black's is AWESOME. i am also partial to some pralines made by some german company called "leonidas"
I know - I was being flipant. (although, some "white confection" marketed as white chocolate is just milk, vanilla, sugar and binders.) (toblerone is yummy)
