Hi, I'm desperately looking for a usa-english-layout-highquality (like microsoft or logitech ) keyboard.

Since I live in Italy, I need a supplier that ships internationally.

I looked at the sticky links thread but with no fortune ( I only found cheap keyboards ).
Maybe some of you could point me in the right direction ?

    Thanks.

What do you mean by high quality? As in doesent break easily, the keys dont stick, looks cool, or just something thats branded? Anyway, fry froogle! As Froogle rocks!

You can order any available layout from Logitech's online store.

You might try a Cherry keyboard. They don't make frilly keyboards, and they don't make gamers keyboards.

However, I have on, and I'm a diehard gamer. What it is a standard layout keyboard that's got a very high build quality, and will most likely not die anytime before you will. Mines been bundled in cars, banged around in bags, and mashed like theres no tomorrow, and it's still working perfectly. I don't know where you'd find a supplier, but since they're made in germany, maybe you could buy direct?

    I like Cherry.
I had one once and it was reliable and had a good touch (although it was a cheap model).
Some new models look very good and it seems I can order through their website.

I'm also attracted by a Logitech keyboard that has a "Natural-like" ergonomy with a central splitting and a curved surface.

Any of you had experience with "Natural" layout ?

If you want an ergonomic keyboard, get the Microsoft Natural Elite. Best ergonomic keyboard made, without a doubt. Just has an uber feel to it :D

The Elite was awful. That cursor block just sucked imo.

That's the best thing about it! (and the LEDs down the middle, unf) Much less strain on the thumb ;)

have the old style apple pro keyboard here, and its very nice, with a nice soft touch, but its a pain to keep clean

Still using the Logitech Cordless Desktop Mx, and I still love it. Just replaced the batteries for the first time since I bought it.... that's over a year on one set!

The MS natural series are the best. i love them.

just dont ever disassemble the elite series unless you know what you are doing. theyre a pain to reassemble. i painted mine orange, which is why i know how annoying it is to reassemble one.
