I hate how GTA:SA now has the AO rating, for having nudity, but games like Leisure Suit Larry were rated M. Granted, they had two versions, an M and an AO of LSL, but the only difference was changing a 1 to a 0 in a hex editor of one of the files. That removed all the "censored" bars in the game, giving the player full frontal nudity, so everyone could see Larry's little "weewee" and all the girls' "hoohoos".

So I ask: What the hell's the difference between that and San Andreas? Both had regular content which was rated correctly by the ESRB. Both needed an easy mod to unlock more pornographic content (Larry is arguably EASIER to mod than SA). Yet San Andreas gets everyone all riled up, and Larry slipped below the radar. Just because Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude sold many less copies doesn't mean that it should be rated more leniently because less people are viewing it... By that logic, Mariah Carey's "smash" hit Glitter could have a hardcore sex scene in it and still keep the PG-13 instead of going to X.

 

Remember the DOA Series for Xbox? Theres a nude patch. ...... and they worry about sims.

 

So dumb, wow, you can give just about any game a nude patch, just change the skin, what's next Halo 2? That already was in trouble, being ranked 3rd "evil" if I remember correctly. This launch attack on games is so retarded. He should be fragged.

Hex editor is a little harder to do. And the hot coffee mod is a little more than just nudity.

This story pisses me off too much, first of all, ITS ONLY ANIMATION, second of all, the game already had an age restriction, and, most importantly and one that that stupid bitch clinton could not see past: THE GAME NEEDS TO BE MODDED for the content.

Why don't game companies just forget texturing a whole naked body, and just graphed underwear onto the base model?

Then they'll need hard-core reverse-engineering and ******** to have to have naked bodies. Voila, problem solved.

Well, only one person has to edit it, and then they upload the 50k file, and other people download it... And it's way more than nudity, because the game has you ...er... fornicating with women, pretty graphically at some points. I've seen the hot coffee video, and Leisure Suit Larry is quite a bit worse...
