I know what you are talking about No, my side panel fits with the front rail in place. It would seem you don't really need it..Just add it to the "parts box"..
Ohh my god! I can't believe that something of such "complexity" can be that inexpensive. I was thinking about 100$ maybe, but this is good news But, where did you find your devil? Cause' that guy is so insane, and I've never seen anything like it.
UP & Running.. After 15 months, I am typing @you on BN!! Installing Bill's window: SATA&RAID drivers with my "temp" floppy-drive"..Flashed the MB's BIOS as well. This weekend has been all service-packs,drivers and software.. I set-up my two machine with the D-Link DKVM-2K I am not happy with this unit ($25US)..Poor Video quality on PC#1 (noise)..Refresh-rate 100Hertz..Still looks like ********..Frozen mouse when switching two/fro... There has to be something better! O-Well....I am getting very-good temps.. Fan-cooled nvidia 5900Ultra: H20 cooled nvidia 6800Ultra: Much more to-do..Lighting up next.. Artistic (no-flash) picture:
Hey congrats! Good to see it working. So I'm guessing performance testing will be next on the agenda?
Again great work so far, hate to see it getting so close to the end. This has been a great trip from the start.
Just amazing, I'd love to be at your standard. I'm interested in how you made those windows, and I would just read through the thread, if it wasn't 1770 (1771 now) posts long, could you give me an aprox distance thorugh I should try reading from? I'm lazy just amazing work...Aquacomputer ought to use you as a showcase.
Glad to see BN under power again. I am sure you will have a lot of fun with the new AquaSuite once you get around to updating the Aquaero firmware. BTW, teh Uber L33t AC thread was recently dead-threaded by no one knows. I started a new one here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=931829 in case you are interested.
Ohhhh it is complete, or working depending if its completly done or not. either way it is brilliant, well done
No, it's not complete. I still have a lot of "small-stuff" to take care of. So there will be more updates.. At this point I need to find a high-quality KVM switch. The D-Link is not very good. I think the problem is the cables (which are built-in) are of poor quality and six feet long (much longer than I need).. If anyone out there has had a "good-experience" with a model/brand of 2 or 4 port KVM, give me the "heads-up"...
Check out this 4 port KVM you should be more than happy at that price http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=31535
I haven't used that actual Belkin model but I have this one http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=31534 it's generally good, but nothing to write home about. I would think the two port version would be identical really. But you have to buy cables with it pushing the price up. I would probably suggest getting a decent intergrated cable version. the cables you get for KVMs are pretty much long anyways.
I suggest the Belkin Ominview SOHO like the previous poster. I am currently using that one on my desk right now and it is outstanding. I have about 4 or of them at work and they do a great job. I run all my machines at 1280X1024 60hz with no problems. With good cables it can also handle my dell 20 inch LCD 1600 x 1050 60hz. this model can also control sound and microphone functions as well plus it has a built in bios that can be flashed.
