Sounds like fun to me, however it should be noted that I am not a system admin, I just follow our system admin around and fix all the stuff he breaks You would figure that with all the training and certs he must have had to take in order to get the job would make him slightly more qualified than a teenager with no certs and no pro training, wouldn't you?
reminds of something my grandad always says, if your good at your job, the people above you will make sure u stay there, thats why only the boneheads get the promotions.
Thank you for your job maintaining some unknown computer network, smilodon. You make their world go round Hey, someone needs to thank those poor under-appreciated IT admins
And roto, you've just made yourself the official IT-thanker-person-thingy Congrats. As well, Twisted Sister is no where near as good of a band as I thought they were (just returned from their concert, they've not played in canada for over 20 years)
I'm not a system admin in an office or anything, rather the neighborhood. The shear joy I feel when someone starts yelling at me about how they can't get on the internet anymore because they uninstalled the drivers and software for the wireless network card I installed just the day before....simply indescribable. But yea, thank you unheard, underappreciated admins keeping businesses up and running despite other employee's best efforts.
well... i don't.. yet... however i do fix peoples computers occationaly.I tr to avoid it, though... (when you first say yes thei'll never leave you lone!)
