It's not supposed to do that. It's generally bad when it happens. Hit system idle process then hit end process.
*Cue Kameleon's sig* The System Idle Process is the measure of how much percentage of your CPU is idle. Good call
1. Defrag 2. Run a good av (I recommend AVG (Free)) 3. Run good anti spy/adware programs (I recommend Spybot S&D, Webroot spysweeper and adaware < those three together wipe out pretty much anything bad you can think of) 4. Check the process manager for processes you don't want/need running (******** like Steam, QTTask(quicktime, not even needed) and whatnot generally tend to rape your system's full performance figure) 5. Go to start> Run, then type in MSconfig and hit enter... this'll bring you to a system/boot config menu, go to the "Startup" tab, and disable unnecessary things in there such as the quicktime task (qttask..), and itunes helper and such.
Hey cheers I'll do all that. Have you got a link for the AVG anti virus? I've got spybot I'll do that now
Also, is there a website that explains all the processes so I can see if they are good or bad? LIke there are some with just random names and I dunno what they are. Thanks for your help
In fact there is, wonderful thing tbh. Been growing a lot in the last few years. Ready for it? www.google.com!!!11!1oneoneeleven And let the cheers from the crowd echo throughout the forums!
just put in the name of the exe into google, 99% of the time the first few results are sites that have information on it, i.e. if it is harmful etc
