got this lian li pc7+black on 30/06 it came with a front 120mm and rear 80mm fan and got to cut it for 120mm fan cut a 8mm acrylic and dirll holes on the side to insert led. and there she gose in between the case and the fan now the rad is place at the front intake and the pump but i place it into the 5.25" bay later cause 1/2 of the bay is empty this is the reservior it sit on top and it is hidden once all panel is cover
rear view for the resvervior cause i use 8mm acrylic for the base of the reservior and can use that same trick to dirll hole on the side and insert LED now time for test run and make sure no licking now picture on the side panel is decided spend more then half a day to cut it out. have you guys notice the cat lost her nose. maybe should name this project (M Jackson) when shopping with wife and kid and saw this. it is handle for sliding windows but i find it just nice for the feet so give it a try and add in LED
now some of you might say why this is in ther when no want could see. it is some left over 8mm acrylic and find that it is empty up there the same old trick is use again drill a hole to insert LED add this acrylic to cover those drive bay
this is for all the LED conector now i hide all the cable behind the MOBO tray now for the power and HDD LED on the front ah ha the same old trick now i use the USB bay for my power, reset and eject button
got this thermaltake big water kit cause i find it cheaper then to get a Rad and a water block. l don't like that metal, it makes the water looks cheap so..... with the 8mm acrylic left over i give it a try now how is this ? better right?
fan speed control into the keyboard now this rig is sitting on the floor and it is hard for me the control the speed of the fan so add the fan speed controller in to the keyboard cut and file for it to go right in the rear view cut a rubber easier to support so it will not fall back in to the KB and it is done now thank you for reading my mod. it took me a month finish this mod. and lots of idea came from this fourm from some better modder here. been around here for few month and love it here. once agian thank you. (sorry for my bad english)
wow... a super plethora of pictures! its like a silent movie! wow. i love it. i love the "sam" and the front bezel. wow... how long did this take? i also like how the panther? vut out on the side is bare metal on the sides of the cuts due to the cuts. it gives it depth! wow again.
It's a shame the "SAM" plexi LED-lit lettering is hidden when the side panel is on, but sweet Thundercat!
I am liking it. The only thing I don't understand is doing that awesome SAM lettering and have it not be visible. How often is the side of the case off?
