    91p a litre.

Technically yes, but dont try it. If you drop the match in too soon the phosphorus burns very hot and will ignite the deisel. If you dont fully submerge the match in the deisel it will continue to float on the deisel until it catches fire. A good trick is to dunk a cigarette in a small pool of deisel. Some guys tried to replicate that trick but used a flare, which burns VERY hot and contains an oxidant (therefore can burn without oxygen) it all went badly wrong.

If you stick vegitable oil in your car its advisable that you pay tax on atleast every third fill-up. The exhaust smell is very strong and a police officer will pull you over when he smells the burning vegitable oil, you will be needing a recent tax receipt ;)

    Gas/Petrol

In Lexington,KY(US), the prices range anywhere from $2.39/gal up to $2.68/gal. It costs me $30 to fill up; if I'm lucky to get the cheaper price.

Guess what, the prices are about to go even higher. :sigh:

Well that's inevitable tbh, it'll never go down because of a) inflation and b) oil resources. Come back in 30 years when you're going "I CANT BUY OIL!" then see how much it costs

I'm not sure how fit for human consumption it is where I work. Middle of nowhere in a converted stable. It's cloudy, tastes vile, and probably comes through lead pipes. No thanks. ;)

lol I remember filling my car up for a tenner when I started driving, it was 49p a litre then. I can fill my scooter up for less than a fiver but it used to be less than £4 when I started riding it two and half years ago. The tank only carries just over a gallon.

Went to Gibraltar last week and petrol is only 52p. Thats cos its tax free. Bit unfair that countries under British rule get away without tax!

Diesal is now 96p and Unleaded is 94p at the nearest station to me.

Why exactly should you pay tax if you fill up your car with veg oil? Doesn't our government get enought tax as it is?
