I've played both and I liek cs more but I'm trying not to base my opinions with bias but I think AA is seriously boring it's even worse than rainbow six  and that really is an anchievement.

The most annoying thing about AA is the training, training for medic ACTUALLY makes you do a real test if you fail you need to read and do it again, that's pretty lame ...

AA is basically a military recruitment game.

I really like AA. but then thats prob b/c im pretty good at it. I havent been really good ad CS since the they started the 1.xxx series, i usually have a 2:1. Havent played BF:2 yet.

But neways AA, i like the training in AA, it gives it more of a serious feel. And you dont have to do all the training, esp medic. And most ppl just look up the answeres anyways.

It's pretty realistic in the aiming system, save for the sniper, which Orchestra is the best at. I really like the feel of the weapons. (I'm not a big fan of the crosshare in CS) And i think its even better since they updated it to 1.4, now u pretty much have to bring up the iron sights if u want a distance shot(more realistic). this really isnt a problem, esp if ur SF. I like it b/c it doesnt have that arcady feel to it like CS. And there aren't a lot of 12 year old boys acting gay all the time(there are the occasional) like CS. Its deffinitely slower paced, except for CSAR, Hospital,(which both have action in the first few seconds, but can last up to 7 or 9 mins) and a couple of new maps, so if thats not ur thing then ur not going to like it. Its one of the only online games that can really get my heart pounding. Most of the time, players play as a team(alot of strategy), unlike cs, which ppl do sometimes but its usually just ppl traveling in packs. But then it is still plagued by nade spamming on a couple of maps.

One of the best things about it is its FREE.

i dont think they are comparible, AA is good due to all the training needed to go on sepc ops maps etc. (i admit it, i cheated on them, but i dont play anymore)
CS is more a pick up and play, it still requires skill, but now, i find myself playing CSS, and i only play either zombie servers or Surf maps which are the absolubte muts nuts

I thought the training aspect was actually pretty cool. Added an extra layer of gameplay, however shallow it was. Main game wasn't my cup of tea, and back when I last played it was at a pretty early stage of development.

Having said that, CS is just plain dull by the standards of stuff like CoD and BF2 imho. CS really needs an injection of... something.

BF2 is like a clone of America's Army, with no training.
