@ tm36usa :I bought/ordered the LEDholders in a store in Holland (Eindhoven) called Coditronics, so not in a onlineshop. They sell all kind of electronic parts. They do have an website with everything they sell. Coditronics @ mouflo001 : I use an Innovatek reservoir and that fits just fine. I don't know if my reservoir is smaller then your Aquatube. I got my acrylic glass from coolcase and the larger acrylic from bouwplastics both in Holland. It's all in Dutch so I don't think this will help you very much.
Thank you Franklin, according to a photo catch on the topic of Modsquad my aquatube should be smaller than your innovatek You too is not blocks to connect S-ATA? Thank you for your bonds for the plexy but unfortunately according to that I translated it is delivered only in netherland. Damage for me.
The S-ATA connections are not blocked, no problem there. I started working on the idea for the aluminium fancover on the back of the case. I mean this plan. It now looks like this.
This time it didn't go wrong, nothing broke. I only have to drill some holes in the acrylic and clean it up a bit.
lol the first Bit wedding , But seriosly this is stunning, great work franklin, I cant wait for my v1000 whats the next installment gonna be ? -Frank
God bless it. The patience you have. I bow to you sir. You are inspiring me so much in my current project its sickening. Earlier on I mentioned hating uv acrylic. This project ALONE inspired me so much I just placed my order for some uv green acrylic. When done right, it just looks so good!
As usual Excellent work Franklin, one of my favorite projects! Question: what's holding the mesh and acrylic inplace?
@ Fozzy: Are you a beautiful woman that has a kind hart and can you also cook? @ Modsquad: nothing yet. The plan was to use four M3 bolts, one in every corner. The mesh and acrylic fit so tight it doesn't even fall out without these bolts. Thanks for all your comments guys. It's a pleasure to be on this forum. Lot's of great projects at the moment b.t.w.
I'm very surprised this project isn't getting the attention it deserves Keep at it Franklin, we're watching
You mean like more than 93k views ain't getting the attention it deserves? ^^ But hell yeah, keep on going Franklin!
Very clean and neat work, those in my opinion are the best mods. Without a mishmash of ideas just thought of that in their own right are good but all togeather are wrong. Your mod is an excellent example of how to do it. Nice work
I've got all the stuff for the lighting, all but the LEDs. I expect to recieve those next week. I will not use all these parts in this mod, but in future projects it will come in handy.
Love this project, it has some great ideas (yoink.... ), Love the green plexi and chrome look two other things: Subscribed! 5* 'd
