I can understand the illigal drugs and underage kids doing things they aren't supposed to being an issue but I have to agree they were out of line with the force they used. With all the other crap going on in this country they have to harrass kids having a good time. What about all the murderers and rapist out there, you don't see SWAT hovering over there doors and bustin in on there business. I'm suprised they aren't kicking down my door for talking about stuff on a forum. lol Free country MY @SS
I didn't get to see the vids yet, but you have to realize where this is taking place: Utah. Not much else is going on in Utah and they tend to be really strict there. It is predominantly a Mormon state and they don't like anything like this there. Not saying that the force used was correct, but the people throwing the party should realize that Utah may not be the most lenient to these activites.
but look at it the other way around, if the police turned up in normal uniform with no dogs or heli's etc the kids would have just legged it.

The Police could have dealt with this easily unless gangs were present why would you need SWAT no arms were found anyway. Waste of time and money to get all those units out there just to buy a few dozen kids when probably some fugitive is running around raping or killing people. GG.
Yea brutal did they scratch one the records... BTW the police found a 15 year old kid Od'ing on ecstasy that the even holders had just put to one side to "cool off" when he actually needed to go to hospital very quickly.
indeed, police went in there could have been guns, lots of people about to run etc, they were just ready for anything. from the videos i also think its clear to see no one was taking the police on or trying to do a runner with their stash. probably because all the kids were popping themselves.
How are any of those videos horrific? I saw nothing excessive while the only reference was 2 kids saying that the police were excessive. This is just typical media hype and sensationalism at it's best...
That kid was so full of s**t, no way did they "beat down 16 year old girls". It was quite obvious it was a planned operation, so the police would of expected it to be under great scrutiny from the public, media etc especially as it involved minors. Oh, and did you see the kid with the camera in the 'fascism' video? They didn't even force him to turn it off. If you can walk around freely with a video camera, I'm pretty sure no one was getting a 'beat down'. Somebody asked why it happened as it was a legal rave, well apparently they only had a license for 250 people and there was easily double if not triple that amount there.
I see nothing wrong with what the police did... As mentioned before, it's just been completely hyped up. They're hardly going to beat teenagers when it's obvious that it's all being filmed, are they? The people there were just making the most out of it for the media.
I guess the police there have nothing better to do than break up parties.... 10 bucks says that the police took all the drugs and got stoned afterwards.
