Modding Modding my room...ideas...

    For the fileserver and smoothwall, I wouldn't worry about KVM switches - both can be run in "headless mode" - i.e. no monitors or keyboards (other than for setting up the machines :duh: )
    Smoothwall is configured via a webpage anyway, so no need for a monitor for that.
    Install something like VNC on the fileserver, and use that to manage the server from your other PC. That will instantly clear up your deskspace :D

    IM not sure if im going to use them as smoothwall and server now...Still thinking

    Yes they are crts they were only 100 bucks each after rebates...ive gotten 40/80 dollars back so far...Samsung 17inch

    Nice monitors, don't you think? I've got the 19" version of that Samsung for my primary, which I paid $190 w/tax for, and then my 17" just like yours for $74 w/tax (Staples clearance). I love the clarity and color depth from them. X_X

    Looks great though, it's giving me some ideas.......:) Good job on the wall panel for your network, cable and phone lines. I used to install those when I was with DBNetworkz here in Boise.
