Bit of a strange one this but bare with me! Early this morning my girlfriend was woken by all the dogs in the surrounding houses. They were all howling and barking for about 5 seconds and then there was a very loud noise. Apparently it sounded like a very large low flying aircraft but the strange thing was that it didn't get louder then die away. It just happened and remained the same intensity then stopped. I however was rather drunk that night so slept through it I wouldn't normally say anything on the web but I've just spoken to my mate and his dad also heard it (he lives 30 or 40 minutes drive from where my gf and I were) So I'm just wondering if anyone else heard it, cause I'd love to know what it was!! This was in the Worcester, Malvern, Bromyard sort of area. (west midlands UK!) Cheers hehe
i might have heard that flying over me thismorning (about 9ish) it sounded like a cross between a helicopter and a plane i was to lazy to get out of bed and look since theres always stuff like that flying really low over here i live near tewkesbury which is about 30mins from Worcester.
this was much earlier than that. Not quite sure what time but between 1 and 5 I would say. Howdy to tewkesbury anyway hehe.
hmmm, ok. Was just strange with the dogs barking and both people were sure they didnt get louder and then quieter again. Plus we get loads of B52s flying low (what with fairford not being far away and qinetic a stones throw) so would have thought they would recognise them. Oh well lol. Was kinda hoping it was an alien invasion or somthing
sad to say it's not that interesting, my neighbours a plane junky and mentioned it this morning.... I wonder how many other people come from Worcestershire on the boards... i'm thinking local bit meet!
lol I knew you were from worcestershire, and i know a couple of my mates i introduced to bit that don't really post, but there are probably quite a few of us. So if you are from Hereford/worcestershire, raise your hand, even if you didn't hear the bloody planes this morning
