right i have my holesaws, seen here
i now need to know which side of the case panel to cut from, as in outside to inside or vice versa as i dont want nasty edges on the outside of me case. and is there anything else i need other than the saws and arbor to cut the blowhole?

i think you need low high speed but high torque on your drill and i would drill from the side you would look at as then it should push bits of metal to the othreside. In theory anyway.

basically you want to drill from the outside inwards because the "clean" edge is found on the side that the holesaw first cuts into. You should drill a pilot hole with a small drill bit for you're drill bit found in the arbor so it doesnt slide around. If available use a drill press. Otherwise youll end up with thin and thick spots you'll be sorting out.

Outside in. Use motor oil to keep the holesaw from messing up. GL!

cut from the outside in. just like drilling.

a few people here and there say you should really use a drill press or get someone experienced, but that's been said for a whole lot of things i've done, and not just on computers. yet they come out nice anyways. :p

that holesaw should cut under almost any speed... the trick i found is to use mineral spirits, drill my center hole with a smaller drill bit, then get the pilot drill going on it and go slow until it gets its edge cut in then let it rip... outside in, though i'd still reccommend de-burring the edges after you're done... and mask of the area where you're drilling so you don'r marr the surface around it

i cut from the outside on pretty high speed and then use my dremel with a metal polishing stone to smooth the edge

    WD-40 is your best friend!

There are so many uses for it!

Want to make anything look clean and shiny? Use WD-40!

I clean all my lawn quipment with it at home and work and it's great.
