If god is in a good mood, you can click here for linky. OK, before anybody gets in a religious fit, this is all I have to say: I honestly don't have a problem with somebody believing this kind of thing, but for somebody to go to the degree of wiriting it up, and over emphasizing it in multiple establised news papers, thats going way over the top.
Hopefully his constituents in Mississippi will have heard this and will remember it come next year's election.
This reminds me of something... "... blame Canada, blame Canada!" Now it's God! God has weapons of mass destruction, we must stop him! WWIII is about to start, Earth vs Heaven.
I reckon Arnold Schwarzenegger could've got god out of office... if he hadnt have got old and flabby.
why do these things happen... does God really have to let people killed just to show power? I don't think so...
i hate it when this happens- terrible natural disaster then someone says its gods will against evil of the people who live in the area where what ever happend. anyway to the bit i hate, they are saying that the people deserved it.- does this mean that all of the small children and babies who wouldnt even know the diffence between good and evil at there age deserved to die in a natural disaster? how would you think the pearents if they survied would feel to hear this. i think people should be alot more watchful of what they say.
To paraphrase something the late, great Bill Hicks said: "Our beliefs are being challenged alot these day, which is good, 'cos they're stupid"
I had to laugh when I heard about this comment. He says that this is god punishing the wickedness in New Orleans i.e. MardiGras, etc... Here's the funny bit..... The parts of the city that the "Wikedness" takes place in is the french quarter, and that part of the city escaped largely intact. So, either god missed......Or someone is a moron.....
rofl This is great. It seems that with every natural disaster, people say God is punishing a group of people. It's God not god. It's disrespectful even if you don't believe in God to spell it starting with a lowercase g.
Are you repressing my beliefs that god does not exist in any form, period? If by my action of not capitalizing a 'g' I have offended you so wholly that you feel the need and the right to deem me rude, disrespectful, and a unholy Satanic demon-leader of an army of anti-christ Banana's, then I'm sorry, but I'm human, and I choose to spell it god. If you found any part of this post to be offensive, destructive, constructive, helping, or rude, then I take no responsibility, as Satin made me do it. honest!
That's Satin, not Satan lol Personally I think it's some Mad Scientist in somewhere with a weather making device that is throwing all these hurricanes. I hear his next attacks are going to be really bad. He's supposed to make Snow fall from the sky!!, and pile up in all the roads.....We're going to have to clear them with trucks, and shovels......DEAR GOD! Won't someone help us!....... I expect this attack to come sometime in the next few months........Everyone seek refuge.....
Ok - I'm not here to start any debates or anything... The issue is not that it's "rude" or "disrespectful" to use a lowercase 'g' when referring to the judeo-christian deity - the issue is that it is incorrect to do so. "god" simply means deity - you could use it this way when writing about greek vs. roman gods etc... "God" is a proper noun (capitalized) that is the name of the christian deity. This probably done partly because of the whole "one true god" stuff that's built into their religion. So, you were incorrect in this case when you spelled it as "god" because that's the wrong word. Make sense?
