Googling my name for kicks and look what I stumbled across! www.bloodcar.com They're making a movie and naming it with my user name! This kinda sucks, if anyone enjoys the film, I'll have to compete to use my unique handle that I've used for over 10 years.
he he Sweet, well if any1 debates who has rights, well just look @ older forum entries etc Quick, get it copyrighted lol
WTF kind website is that?? Who in their right mind would look at that twice?? Worst advertisment evAr. (Nice car tho)
Extremely unoriginal. In the early Eighties a German film was made on this subject already: a "vampire car" that runs not on petrol but on the blood of its driver. The idea is that your feet contain thousands of cappilary blood vessles and therefore would make the perfect interface (through the "gas" pedal) for a vampire car. An "organically driven" car, so it was reasoned in the film, would be more economical and pollution friendly. The original design was aimed at public transport, where buses would run about on the collective small "donations" by its passengers. But then someone designs a sports car... only a two seater, and a lot hungrier animal. Soon a typically vampire-like addictive relationship is formed between the protagonist and the car that leaves the main character, er, quite drained in the end... It's been done. And better, I suspect.
Haha, vampire car. Personally, I think the idea behind Christine was better, if we're talking about scary cars.
Hey, Check out http://www.archiesbloodcar.blogspot.com They have finished shooting the roughcut of the movie And it looks like a low budget, independent sort of amatuer movie, so you don't have to worry too much about your username being overrun by masses of Movie going fans. kinda a good read about production though.. almost funny.
Haha, the trailer is now up! http://www.bloodcar.com/trailer.htm Soooo cheesey...yet it will be in my movie collection if it comes out on DVD.
Go watch Christine, Stephen King novel turned into a movie, finally got round to it last night, damned good.
It's actually getting good reviews from festivals and critics alike. One review is at the bottom of the page. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780485/
