I use loctite epoxy. Its in this clear and red syringe type container. It freaking smells bad though. Good thing I`m almost out so I can buy a different brand.
Ummm... I got side tracked. Sorry. I spent the whole day today polishing that G4 cube. Freaking awesome. I just had to see how it looked polished. Don`t worry thats all I wanted to do. Next update will be a G5 one. Before the sanding and buffing. Note that little circle on the side. Its not really metal. I`m going to have to find a way to cover it up later. I just removed it. Done.
Back on topic. I got the mobo lighting done. I`m going to light it the same way as the front. Its just frosted plexi with blue leds. Here is the plexi cut and epoxied in place. It was also sprayed it to give it that frosted look. Now here it is lit up. Don`t mind the scratches. The spray got scuffed up when I was wiring and soldering all the leds in place. Its a mess back there. Hot glue and wires everywhere. I just need to respray it and it`ll look fine. With the PC lit up in the back. They look good together.
WooHooo update time. The lighting is making a big difference in the look of the case. Lmk what you guys think.
Stunning The extra effort used on every little piece (And the fact that you're anal about everything ) makes it look amazing.
Good in this case. (Heh, bad pun). Since you're working by yourself, you have no one to anger by being precise
Sorry guys been real busy the last month. I have today and tomorrow off so if I have a chance I`l work on it.
Hey, what do you know its an update. Sorry for the lack of updates. I got tired of working on this project and took a break. Here is a minor thing I did today but changed the look of the pc. I decided to go with a different spray paint for the frost than what I initially had. I went ahead and bought real frost spray paint. I also got it in pearl grey and white. I repainted the front and back pieces in pearl grey. The color matches the color of the case better and has this metal flake look. It also helps in making the front look cleaner by hiding the wires better when the pc is off. I`m still not sure how the front will look when its lit up. I`m crossing my fingers its not too dark. Here is the spray paint i used. I dont know if you can tell but the bottom half of the plexi is pearl grey and the top is white. I was just testing it out to see how it would look. Here are the pics of the front done. Hopefully tomorrow I can take some pics with the leds on. Also the mobo tray got a spray of the white frost.
That is sweet looking. Where do you find plexi in Texas? I just moved to here and I don't know where to source stuff locally.

The ressult from the frost paint looks realy good. whats the price on one can with frost paint? BTW, did you use any primer or sanded the plexi before you painted it?
They were kind of expensive. I think they were like $7 usd for a small can. I didn't sand the plexi at all. I just sprayed over the existing spray that was already on there. On the can it says its not for plastic but it did a test piece and left it for a couple of days and it seemed fine so I just went ahead and sprayed the pieces.
Okey, thanks for the info. Gonna buy some frost spray for like 4USD or something like that. Gonna test it and maby use it in another mod.
Here are pics of it lit up. Its not as bright as it once was but it looks cleaner. I like it much better. and then my mobo tray.
