[MOD]:: DSIGN IV :: Dark Angel :: the best engraving of Jessica Alba

No !! you don't dream, I didn't finish the 3rd project ( DSIGN III ) that I realize some another, it's veryimportant for me because these is a PC which will be useful for my joint tenants whom used to steal my computer when they want to go on Internet while I would like to work with photoshop...

So i find them a poor computer for 50$ :

p3 550
motherboard legend QDI
2*128Mo pc 100
grafic card S3
HDD 3Go fujitsu
sound card aopen
lan card
dvdrom
floppy

the case is a AT case , so i have to mod it in ATX, that's why i told me if you take your dremel you have to make another mod , you can't let this case original ! ^^

the problem is i would like my joint tenants have a computer quickly , and i have decided to make another casemod, so it will take more time than if i had choosen to let the case like original !! ^^

i think that i am doped !! lol

Let me show you my first sketch, i would make something of simple, in black color ( i have found some acrylic black free... ) but i told me i could make all the surface engraved with white led.... i give to this project the name of " Dark angel " because :

1 - it is in my order of casemod ( the two casemod first were japanese theme and the two other must be Angel theme )

2- i had to find a name with " black " or " dark "...so " Dark Angel " like the movie, and i think you don't reproach me to use Jessica Alba as my model for the " angel "...



the front :

- an engraving, a white vandal switch i didn't use, 2 white led with their chrome support, i didn't use too...



on the right side :

- an engraving of Jessica with her hand in the hair, the lines of the hair will be drawn on all sides of the case, so that will be homogeneous



le top :

- an engraving of Jessica who is lengthened



scuze me to not really represant correctly how the case will look like but at 2.00 am i'm very tired and i don't have work as i would like on photoshop to show you better, and i have to translate all my text in english after , it's takes a long time to do it !! ^^

we can see the few space inside to integrate all the parts !!So the first thing i have to do is to drill he first thing to be made was to remove the rivets to enable me to make a pass for my hand inside with the dremel

now I can use the dremel to cut a piece of the case which prevents to me from posing the motherboard in a flat position :





I can use my files as I can so that don't look too ugly after cutting and can't hurt (for the cables at least), anyway nothing will be seen what there is inside since outside ( who wants to see a p3 550 and one S3??? )

i increase this part, in order that my dvdrom can be in place...







it's ok !!




taht's all for today, tomorrow i will take all the dimension of the side and cut the black acrylic to pose it above each side of the case, then i will cut the transparent acrylic and engrave the angel who looks like to jessica alba ( maybe...or not ! ^^ ) and pose it abose the black acylic !


and it will be finished for the casemod, not a lot of work, it seems not, but my previous project ( DSIGN III ) will take me a lot of time not to bungle my work !!

the acrylic 8mm, i use water paper P1000 to have a good transparency .



i use my toshop pics in fullscreen not to make any mistake durin the engraving...it's a difficult exercise because le " white " line of your engraving is the " empty " in the scketch, not the "black " line of the pencil....i don't know if you see what i mean ?

i don't still engrave becausei found a new idea for the left side, how do you find it ??? let's see the result in 2h !!

As soon as I saw her, I gave your mod 5 stars. I believe that she is too hot for the public eye... Keep her in a confined space (preferably in my bedroom), and I will cool her down

A lot of work today, i begin at 11' o'clock for cut the acrylic then i draw the stencil ( A3 format ) for my engraving at 12' o'clock and the since 13' then of 13h with 18h I do not have do nothing but engrave

Damn dude this looks extremely good. Wish i could design engravings like that. I still like the side cutout for your other case best, but this stuff is awsome 2.

(if you have a cutout design like on the other case to spare that your not gonna use, you know where to find me)
