If any of you have this months CPC (30)on p.10 it says that dell have teamed up with Nvidia to create an asus dual type 7800 GTX 512 card with 1GB or Ram each giving a 2GB total memory , the case it comes with is also frigging cool. Mankz
The problem with a magazine is that it can never be as up-to-date as an online publication. Check the date on this
From what i have read about this, it seems Dell wont be using watercooling so this thing is going to get so damn hot and when things get hot they tend to get unstable with my experience...
In my experience, Dell tend to have very efficient and quiet cooling systems. They can afford to have their engineers design custom solutions (ever seen the big green air guides inside 'em?), and so I don't doubt that this leviathan would be very cool and very quiet.
Mankz, if you read and post on bit maybe reading the articles would be good too-- just maybe? Hitman- where i live in minnesota i wouldnt mind having a footwarmer for a computer, only not one build by dell.... i will admit that it is going to be a good, overpriced, but good gaming rig when it hits the market.
sigh, hitman is correct, dells are very quiet and cool, Why would they sell a computer that gets hots and therefore unstable... you think companys actually do that? Not sure if your using the word "old" in this way or not .. but anyway they use the green cooling system things in new systems aswell. You don't need water to keep things cool inside your case... fans are normally by far enough for a non-overclocked machine.
IIRC that Dell is overclocked? Even if it isn't though, it'll still be churning out some heat Nice though. Overkill to the max.
NO KIDDING!!!! It has 6 hiperformance cores in it. 6 months ago the most you'd see was 3 if there was sli and 2 months ago you'd see 4 with a dualcore proc. WHen are we gonna see 8?!!!!!
yes, its got a 955 EE overclocked to over 4GHZ or so it says. The case looks very cool. Simply, i want one.! MAnkz
Does anyone wonder what the video test results for that mother f***er are?!?! i mean seriously.. im guessing around 13000 on 3d mark 06
