Simply post your graphics card and roughly your average framerates you get in games! If you know your framerates on these games post in reference to them!: Battlefield2 World of warcraft If you dont have them just post your average on all games! Dont forget, post what Graphics card you have too! edit: whoops forgot to post my own I have a crappy geforce 128mb graphics card on my pc ( its crap - 1.7gig, 512sdram and barely works! ) and im on 20fps-22fps at most, my average would be 19fps on world of warcraft (really crap i know, my pc sucks!)
So you won't even give us more info on your card than "128MB", and you won't tell us what the rest of your specs are, and you won't tell us what your in-game settings are, and you're asking maybe the vaguest question ever. Also, you put it in GD, rather than Video Cards or Hardware & Overclocking. Also, there are tons of threads like this that give loads more information in the form of synthetic benchmark threads. Basically, this thread is useless junk. Please stop the spam.
i bought it from ebay over a year ago, no box, i think its just a geforce 128mb card, my pc is absolute crap, 1.7gig mhz, 512sd ram, and slow as hell i might add. Im not great with pcs and yes i know all framerates are different but was just curious what you guys get on average with what cards and games as iv never experienced anything beyond 40fps. I was just curious when i seen people talk about how they get over 100 and wondered what they used and on what game. If you check my posts iv never spammed pointless things =/
do you play cs:s? anyway my framerates on cs source are 35-60 on milita everything high and hdr/bloom off on 1023x768 see my spec in my sig soon to have cpu upgrade so hopefully will get 60+ I hope anyway how much did you buy the card for? then maybe we can pin point what card it is
Not really sure about this thread, many many many things will change the fps. So unless everyone is willing to use one game with one set of settings all on the same hardware (except graphics card) I dont see it working.
hm I have a G-force 6600 verto and my adverage FPS for WoW is 12-15 is somthing wrong with my computer ?? i'm runnning a P4 2.8 Dual core chip with 2g DDR2 ram
Step 1 - right click on your desktop -> properties -> settings -> advanced -> adapter. It will say "adaptor information" and tell you the model of your graphics card. There are a ton of graphics cards with 128MB of RAM- none of them perform the same. Step 2 - Click the Start button, right click my computer and select properties. The bottom of the general tab will give you more information on your CPU. There is a decent selection of 1.7GHz CPUs on the market today, and they don't all perform the same. Also, when describing CPU speed, use GHz (GigaHertz). There are many different "gig"s in a PC- like a GigaBit LAN connection, a GigaByte of RAM, or a GigaByte of hard-drive space. L J
On my spec at 1280 x 1024 and everything at max in BF2 (inc 4x AA) I average 70 - 90fps. Militia at 1280 x 1024 8xAF 4xAA HDR on i average 30 - 60fps.
Don't we have benchmark threads for this kinda stuff? p.s That's not a call for people to start being pedantic about how Futuremark suck and benchmarks aren't a test of 'real world performance'. <A88>
