I feel so bad for taking the piss out of mookboy so much for his love of this band over the years since their new release gets my January Record Purchase (one album per month, yeah it sucks). It is shredtacular but not quite as cheesy as Sonic Firestorm. It is definitely still a fun record though... Just needs a bit more listening to get into than previous stuff. DragonForce rule pretty much I say I haven't heard the new album yet but they did play a few songs from it the last time I saw them live and they sounded very good. Where did you buy the album from if I may ask?
Just from HMV mate. £9.99. They've got distro through Roadrunner now so it's pretty easy to get hold of.

Hahahah was just looking at this in HMV today. Didn't buy cos I was already holding DJ Krush and Small Faces CDs in my hand. Rad band. And not up their own arses like most other powermetal groups.
Oooooh DJ Krush. A new one? The main thing I like about this band is that they really don't take themselves seriously at all. If you've ever seen them live or seen a live photo you'll know just how much of a laugh they're havin'. Cool guys. Definitely.

Think I saw these on the MTV2 Metal hour (was bored..) video has guy shredding guitar far too much to be called playing, but did a very cool thing, seemed to hammer off a bend then picked up guitar horizontally outwards from his body with whammy bar and let it down again, which I've got to rate as one of the best guitar tricks ive seen in a long time! Still he could do with learning cramming the most amount of notes into a single riff isn't the most origional way of playing.. - M@
Its more of a Fantasy Heavy Metal Band, Kind of like nightwish lyrics wise. I have to say that they have some of the best guitar riffs in just about every single one of their songs. Great guitar play, some of the fastest i've heard. Anyone have songs with faster guitar players?
