Electronics Soldering a SPST switch

    Now i feel quite embarresed about posting this as it should be something simple, but i really cannot work out how i would go about soldering the switch below into a fan circuit. Pictures are below.

    I think i would be soldering the switch onto either of the 2 small cables leading off from the fan, but after that i am baffled!

    Connect one of the wires in series with the switch.

    Thanks for first reply, so i cut the blue small wire for example, and place the switch in between?

    the V+ is the one thats in the middle of the connector. normaly red.
