I have a powerbook g4 and need to get a new PDA in the coming months... would a PDA even be able to sync with my calender/address book inside of OSX?

Any thoughts/suggestions/constructive criticism is GREATLY appreciated =)

I think iSync works with the Palm Tungsten. To use a pocketpc or some of palms more powerful PDA's you have to buy (download?) a separate program...but it is entirely possible.

I use iSync to sinc iCal/adresbook with a k750i and a Palm Tungsten. All basic stuff works great. But my phone didn't recognise some of the data in a entry in the adressbook.

But with the palm it works pretty well!

As Lovah said, it all works with a Palm PDA, no extra software required. You either set it to Sync with the Palm calendar that it installs, or use the iSync conduit (takes a little bit of playing but it's all in the iSync help). I bought a Palm because I had heard Windows-based PDA's don't work on Macs. But as has already been said, you can download some software I think likeTHIS never used it though. I like my Palm PDA, the Windows ones I've seen are about twice the size.
