Modding Xps modding?

Hi guys/gals,

i have an xps 600 and i have no idea how i could mod it. If you have any ideas please help me. If not me and friend goin to make a pc inside a hamster run lol will be funny .

you need the following:



mod it into a PCB mush and buy something new

just kidding mate... take a look around the project guides

 

ok will do, just i still dnt know what 2 dod 2 it, not much u can really

 

combine the hamster cage and a computer to a hamster computer

 

yah maby but it would just look at lil ****, with a 2,500 pound pc wired up to a 25 pound pice of plastic

Oh come o the XPS 600 isnt that bad. Umm but there isnt much you can do...I suppose a window, and a PSone LCD. I wuldnt mod a XPS 600, it'll only end up looking real ******, it just isnt made to be modded.

Why, I mean teh XPS isnt bad hardware wise. Just throw those components into a new case, or leave it as it is. You dont have to mod it. Seems wastefull IMO, but if you have alot of money and the skill then go right ahead.

 

Dells are hard to mod due to have a metal case covered in plastic. I wouldn't attemt anything more than some leds and a few blow holes personaly as windows look very bad in double skined cases.

 

I've got a XPS 600 but I'm apprenhensive to get a new case for because I've heard of people having problems fitting the mobos, plus the power supply is a little different too. I haven't seen much yet.
