I lot of people seem to be reading the title and ignoring the fact that he's asked for something around the 512mb/1gb mark and are suggesting 20gb+ options instead.

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions. However A88 is right, I only need 512mb to 1 gig and preferably with FM radio.

    Thanks to all,

Thanks guys for all of this great advise, I'm very thankful.
Guess what, when I got home tonight I found I was the owner
of a Creative MuVo TX FM 512Mb, Mp3 player. My loving and
thoughtful wife bought it for me while out shopping. I have checked
out the sound quality using the FM radio and found it to be excellent.

Now all I've got to do is figure out how to Rip, Burn and load music on to
    this little little beauty.

Just one question. In the instructions for installing the supplied software,
it states that I must log on as the administrator to install, because I am using XP.
Is this true and if so how do I do this?

AFAIK That mp3 player just lets you copy mp3's straight to it as if its a hard disk, so I wouldn't bother installing the software.

You can rip WMA's and MP3's using Windows Media Player, Version 10 is your best bet.

    AFAIK

The Mp3 in question does not have a hard disk, but has flash drive memory,
but thanks anyway. As usual, you are one of many great people on this site, who are willing to freely share your knowledge with others.

Yeah, I know its not a hard disk, but it acts like one, or rather I should say "Removable Storage".

No, you shall say the Creative MuVo TX is USB Mass-Storage Compliant ;)
Either way this means you can use it to not only access your music from any computer but also use it as a 'pen drive' should you ever need to :)

Yeah, just drag and drop mp3s/folders of mp3s into the root directory :)
