I would like to replace my second CRT with an LCD. Its for my UNIX machines so no gaming just good colors and video playback. A DVI is optional but preferred. Does anyone have any recommendations for LCD for the above. Ive read lots of reviews but none cry out to me "this is the one" and there seems to be lots of displays lately that "overdrive the display" to create white flashes when playing video (?) Thanks in advance.
I'd highly recommend purchasing a Samsung monitor - I have an older 17" from them and it's superb and still competitive with some more modern screens. They have a zero-tolerance policy on dead pixels and look nice to boot
try widescreen and feel like a pimp I recently purchased a westinghouse 19'' widescreen monitor http://aarons_webpage.tripod.com/reviews/product.html im a big fan
