And as for my additions to the list....

    erm

Thunderhawk - sublime and best action flight sim ever. Night mode was just ace!
Heimdall -I sank hours into it, and it was WAY underrated
Myth - as well as the awesome soundtrack it was an ace game.
Loom - Lucasarts at their best! One of the reasons I got an Amiga over my old spectrum :)

Actually whatever happened to the boys at Core Design and Team 17? Are they all working for EA now?!?

Damn I'm getting all nostalgic at the demise of the small software house :waah:

    Worms 4 Mayhem
    Forts Under Seige
    Worms 3D

But to name a few :D

Yeah, but all those are the 3D ones and to be honest, I wasn't too fond of them.

I think they should remake Golden Axe (Mega Drive), it was a lot like Streets of Rage but similar to something like Dungeons & Dragons in the setting, characters, weapons etc.

Actually, you can get super ghouls and ghosts (as well as the original Ghouls and ghosts and ghosts and goblins on the capcom collection for the PS2 and X-Box for about £15. And Altered Beast has a 3D update for the PS2 (but it isn't much cop TBH)

I would love the OG C & C done in the Red Alert 2 graphics engine. TBH, I like RA2's graphics way better then Generals.

Also, the original Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos would be sweet to see updated the right way (new graphics, same interface and story etc.)

So true - Patrick Stewart voiceover and all! That was a superb game which really had me hooked. The NPCs were really well done and the levels were very well thought out. Ace game!!!

3d worms=the worst thing to happen to the series tbh.
streets of rage still gets some serious play time from me from time to time.

That was such a shame, as Worms is one of the best games ever made.

No, you can't. I want REAL destruction derby, where the whole point of the game is to destroy everything. Come to think of it, it was rather similar to Carmageddon.

I liked Flatout, the ragdoll games were pretty fun and the races were usually interesting.

And kiljoi, if you are looking for a "real" destruction derby game you might want to consider Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, or Driven to Destruction (same game different name depending if you are in the US or Europe). It has quite realistic driving but the events are what really makes it stand-out, most true to real life.

    Trailer race ***!!

All of those classic LucasArts games... the talkie ones :) I wouldn't say no to a graphical revamp of FFVII either, that's already approaching ten years old :jawdrop:

FF7 remake. Oh god how I'd cry, even if just for the PS3.
Old school LucasArts games like X-Wing and Tie Fighter? ;) Hell yes, I used to LIVE on them. Infact, i've still got them on floppies here!

Those too, although not what I had in mind. I never had great luck with that ol' joystick for my Beggar's Canyon runs.
