Its not the jack thats broken, its the ***** tiny contact thats mounted from the headphone module to the logic board inside the ipod... The 3.5mm jack is made from the same pice as the rest of the module... //Eskil

There are usualy lots of spare parts for decent prices on e-bay. In the US that part would cost like 5-10bux and you could have a complete ipod.
