Bondo is a body filler, its used on cars to fill in drill holes and make something smoother, etc. It has many uses. In modding, it is normally used to fill in holes or to change the shape of something. If you ask for body filler at a auto supply store they will get you what you need. When you buy it its a big can of a goopy stuff and a little tube of red stuff. you mix some of the goop with a tiny bit of the red stuff ( follow the instructions in the package closely ) and then you have about 5 minutes to scoop the bondo onto whatever your "bondoing." Then you can sand and paint the bondo so it looks good.

yeah Bondo just hapened to be a major manufacturer that everone calls it by. kinda like a Q-Tip or Kleenex, ones a cotton swab and the other is a tissue, but they are major brands that people associate with. so Bondo is a manufacture of Body Filler.

while on the subject, what are the general preperations for painting over/using bondo?
i'm guessing you have to apply it to bare, scuffed metal/plastic- but are there any special painting methods required?

No - that's the beauty of it. You just sand, prime and then paint just like any other easy to paint surface.

I'm not shure if I used Bondo in my mod, but it's works and its' properly almost the same.

But the "Stålsparkel" from biltema works just fine ;)

You shuld use plastic padding elastic. You will find it allmost anywhere in norway. Mekonomen, shell, etc. Costs approx 100 nok 1/2 kg el 140 nok/1 kg
Easy to grind and cures in approx. 10 minutes.

Jeg er også fra norge :)

ps. you can send me a pm if there are anything i can help with
