I didn't know the promotion was under reserves

Out of pure curiosity, hypothetically speaking, would it work if say one was to use a Friend's copy of the game and then register under 'reserves' with that?

 

You dont have to buy it.. you download the 2GB client and then sign into the new client via a new Station user/password and it activates your "reserves" account.
