I fell at the Programming/Developer hurdle after considering what it meant and deciding you were being cryptic, thus giving an answer so as to seem like I was playing along with your game <A88>
There's no option for BSD at all in the OS section... or any FOSS desktop... shame on you, bit-tech! (other than that, not as bad as some surveys i've done!)
Done, just 2 quick questions. Do you still qualify for the prizes if you live in New Zealand? How do you determine the winners, is it the people who praise you the most (im assumiing it will be luck of the draw tho)
the prizes will be shipped world-wide and the winner will be drawn entirely at random after the survey has ended. I'm not sure how long it'll keep running at the moment, though. We're looking for honest feedback on the way you feel about everything bit-tech. There'd be no point in doing a survey if we didn't want to find out more about our readers.
Done, but I didn't include my phone number, does that matter? (I'm sure nobody cares, but if anybody has wondered where I've been, I'm on holiday for the next couple of weeks
Had problems submitting the form (router crash). If there are multiple entries for me please delete the extras
I hope I didn't screw it up by not figuring out the current exchange rate Seriously, it would be nice if you put the US dollar equivelent next to the amounts in parenthesis for the hadnful of us in this hemisphere. I know you can't do every currency, but everyone should be comfortable it at least pounds OR USD.
I'm in. As some have said, some of the questions were a little cumbersome, but for the most part they didn't affect me and I'm sure the participants will be able to get some good data out.
I suppose its a good idea for the survey. Hmmm, I wonder what brought this about... I guess that none of my consoles were listed means there kinda old.
It's been something we've wanted to do for a long long time now... the 2001 survey is a tad out of date, especially when you consider that we've probably more than quadrupled our readership since then.
Done and done. I think some opinion pieces from the bit staffers on general happenings in the tech world once a week or so would be interesting.
