    Huh. Now weren't the first HD-DVD movies originally scheduled to be out about three weeks ago? I'll believe it when I see it. As it is, the only thing I care about for the new media is bigger removable storage, but I'll have to wait for media to be affordable too.

    The movies were delayed due to a delay in the release of the first HD-DVD players.

    Due to certain lawsuits at an earlier point, manufacturers were disallowed from integrating both technologies, HD-DVD, Blu-Ray, into the same hardware. So sorry, no can do.

    So does that mean that there will be no dual format drives available at all?

    On Topic:
    It's not the HD-DVD that interests me, the rest of the laptop sounds pretty ace. I'm still not sure if i'm sold on the idea of using a laptop rather than a desktop.
