Franklin, I know to said "you solved all the hardware problems"..But what was the problem, your motherboard (last I remember, that seemed to be the problem).. As I am a big-Asus fan, I would appreciate more information.. Once again, excellent work. You have one of the best looking LL v-series boxes I have seen..
The first motherboard was just dead. Then I got the ASUS A8N-SLI premium to replace it. It worked fine untill the restart of Windows during the installation. I searched in many topics and fora to find simular problems. After reading a lot my first guess was the memory and thid seemed to be the problem indeed. The memory I used was Corsair CMX512-44000C25PT. I used the help program on the Corsair website to choose this stick and I even mailed them about this choice. This was a fine choice they said, even a very good one to overclock. I bought two sticks Corsair sticks that are in the Qualified Vendors list ( Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2 ) and the prolems were solved.
Thanks for information Franklin..Sorry about starting a new page.. I hate when this happens: YOU post new pictures of "the project"..Someone askes a question and a new page-starts.. your "new pictures" end up a page-back..It's happened to me more then a few times.. The ANSWER: give us more pictures.. Keep UP the great work fella:
Last week a journalist of a local newspaper came by for an interview. This interview was about modding, the Dutch championship casemodding and my casemod AlumaxX. Because I wanted to take care of some small details the fotoshoot will be done later, I think this week. These photographs will be better then my own I guess. I will scan the article and place it here. Will be in Dutch, but I will try to translate it. Never expected to get an article in a newspaper when I started modding I'm happy with the result of my first casemod. Another detail that had to be finished, the cover for the PSU cables, it still was open at the end. Needed some aluminium. made it at the right size and after polishing it
I absolutely love the tube routing, very neat and tidy looking. You should give yourself several pats on the back for that case.
That's true, the picture's were hosted by a.c.ryan, and Franklin thinks that they, a.c.ryan, deleted the pictures after the worklog contest. That's all i know, and i hope Franklin or a.c.ryan is working on the problem. Grtz and don't mind my bad english
Jeez, I really have to pay more attention to the Project Logs. I don't know how I could have missed this one. That is an awesome clean, well-executed mod!
Franklin has putten the pics of the last updates back online on another host for those who missed them (like me). Thanks man !
I have read all pages and it's the best mod i've ever seen! i love it! Which tube are you using¿? it don't bend easily!
