    Just to say, that image of spooks is a bit out of date, they are either dead or they left :)

    At the very least you have the chance of employing people who know how to use Google (by use i mean input the keyword and click search)

    It's just a bit ironic they are recruiting through a website which means ANYONE is open to go... Secret?

    True but they make up for this by telling you in big red letters on the employment part of their website not to tell anyone you are applying.

    Since you're playing up the James Bond/G-Man angle here (cue Mission Impossible music), I might just mention that the Commonwealth police raided ASIO offices in Melbourne and Canberra in 1973.

    I'm sure that they provide a vital function to our government and armed forces, but it's been hard for us (Australians) to take them seriously ever since then...
