Tom Delonge's new band, with the Bassist from Boxcar Racer/Rancid, Guitarrist from The Distillers and the drummer from The Offspring (Atom Willard), Obviously Tom Delonge doing vocals and lead guitar.

Check them out, their debut album comes out on the 23rd of May, but has been leaked early.

You can listen to my favorite tracks here.

They sound too whiney and common for my liking, music is alright but as a whole I don't take to them massively.

Actually, the bassist Ryan Sinn is ex Distillers, and the guitarist is some guy called David Kennedy, no idea who hes from though.

I remember reading an interview with him on VH1.com about how this band was to revolutionise rock music. There were some pretty lofty comparisons made too, I recall the phrase 'the new Beatles' or something.

    Yeah, ok.

    From Wikipedia

After listening to those 3 tracks, I'll probably not bother listening to anything else by them unless I happen to hear it on the radio. They're nothing special, Tom Delonge has such a huge ego to think that this is "the best music made in decades".

Sounds generic as hell. There's stuff that's been out for a few years now that is way better at this sort of quirky emo-infused alt-rock.

    Sorry.
