Modding What to do with a tiny fan?!?!

    I have a small 40mm fan from an old graphics card, and I want to use it in my plexi mod, but were?!? Do u guys have any ideas?!?!

    40mm fans move very little air and are noisy, it's not worth using.

    bild it in a model airplane :D
    i am thinking to bild a aircraft carrier. with F18 :dremel:
    destroy the outer frame and yous it as a air duckt ore to make som air move out of the aircraft :thumb:

    WHAT COULD YOU DO WITH A TINY FAN!

    COOL A TINY COMPUTER OF COURSE!


    if ur chipset over heats you can always low volt the fan to like 7v (assuming it runs at 12) and itl be quiet, and move a little bit more air over it...

    Strip the copper wire from the motor and since it should be insulated wire, measure how much in length you need for resistance on a (blank) v lithium ion batter and then stitch that wire into a jacket and, voila you have a heated jacket.

    I think you should bin it. Make to much noise and move too little air!

    That modded mouse looks pretty ghetto and pointless but then again you can buy them.

    I don't think it's pointless. Some people have a hand sweat problem (I burnt my hands and now sweat a lot). That mouse isn't really a hand-cooler but a hand-dryer.

    What can you do with a tiny fan?
    How about hdd cooler?
