I was going home from work the other day an saw 6 moniters sitting in the garbage, I thought i might be able to use them for something why not pick them up? Into the car and home to find out that all 6 are in perfect workng order. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do with them?

    Programming/development? 2 monitors really isn't enough for heavy-duty coding.

any ideas as to how to get this set up? i couldnt get flight sim2004 to work with 2 monitors using my pny fx5200 (old but does the job ~ kinda) let alone the 12 or 13 being used in that setup!

And as to what to do with them - use one with a video of a fire and chuck it in a fire place. Setup a dual or tripple display system for yourself and sell the ones left

You can spend a bit of cash getting the matrox chain together, otherwise try ebay for some cheap dual heading GFX cards.

I got myself a cheap 4mb 3dfx dual header (childish moment, hehehe, so funny) and it works fine.

My system i've got four, my 19" LCD and my 19" CRT, a small lilliput and my TV. I've got them on 3 GFX cards. If I got another PCI-E card I could have 4 monitors and then use a 2 headed GFX card for another 2 monitors.

Total I could infact have 10 monitors on my system if I max out my PCI slots, um.... the thought of that :D

    Regards
    GiGo

PS Conclusion, I would just get a cheap dual headed card of ebay and hook up the 2 monitors and that way you've got 3 on there which TBH is more thsn enough for the normal person (FYI im not normal :p)

just g3t an asrock 939dual-sata2. The uli 1695 has tripple grapics interface. You can run three graphic cards at the same time (pci,agp,pci-e).

Maybe just set them up in a circle, with the screens facing each other, and turn them on to irradiate any food you may want to preserve, or reconstitute spoiled food into edible stuffs again!
