AH-HAHA just to listen to Terry Wogans comments on it :D And see what the pop-tastic crowd do.

    AHAHAHA-AHAHA I think I just wet myself.

    Then there's Iceland

mmm no comment. So Eurovision has become a collective of the insane put on stage.

EDIT: Aww just check out the link above to all of them. It's a right laugh. If it isnt gay cowboys from Germany, it's some generic pop act from somewhere else.

I think they should all win. Just for the costumes. Btw, isn't Tel actually banned from going to some of those countires now?

Really?? Wouldnt supprise me but where'd you hear that?

I cant stand the music or the shows, but I'd watch the voting if I was incredibly bored since he's literally the only thing worth listening to.

Saying they're all winners makes it sound like the special olympics or something.

They're ALL special, and they've ALL won.. our hearts

Radio 2 on the way to work. I'd take it with a smidge of sodium chloride, mind :)

Rofflecopters. I might also watch it now, just for the hilarity that is Lordi.

I know there must be a rule somewhere that forbids you entering an actual musician. Finland may have there heavy rocker 'Lordi' but we have a pervert named after a fabric detergant! ENGLAND FOR THE WIN

I'm normally patriotic but I just don't do the Eurovision Song Contest. Let’s face its more down to politics than actual singing. Thing is we have no neighbours and the Scandinavian countries normally award each other top points.

    Roll on the World Cup.

    Hell yes!!!

Finland owned, and in my opinion it was well deserved.

Any other year though I would have liked to have seen Lithuania win, what a brilliant idea.

Brilliant result. I was rooting for Lordi from the moment I heard they were competing.

And they managed to pick up the highest ever score in the Eurovision Song Contest! Fantastic!!

Just got back from the Eurovision party I was at. Lordi well and truely deserved the win...a good song and a fantastic stage show. Lithuania second for the arrogance and nutter dancing.

And Terry was on form again...

Has anyone got a link to the video of the Lithuanian entry. I found a utube video to lordi, which was definately entertaining but the lithuanian is meant to be insane.

I didn't watch this, as I had some paint that I preferred to observe drying.

But from what I read online, the UK entered a (c)rap "song" again , then got hosed in the scoring again.

I believe the UK is playing to lose. Why even bother entering?

Daz Ariel Persil, whatever, NIL POINTS!

    (C)RAP ISN'T MUSIC!

I think you'll find that rap is music, just a genre you don't like.

It was a bad decision to put a rap song forward to the Contest, we should know by now that Europe doesn't like rap songs in Eurovision.

I feel so enlightened now - thanks. :duh:

As soon as I heard something other than novelty pop in Eurovision, I had to route for them. Lordi for tw.
