    At last one little update.

Among other minor works, some pics:

Cannons installed in their positions. They need a hole in the tip (made of solid alu) to be most cannon likely.

To make a less plain design, i did some plate marks with the cut disk. It will improve the look when painted.

I also detailed a little the cannons main bodies with some marks, and other parts of the cockpit.

First i gone to use 4 cannons, but at last i decided to use only 2 in that area. Maybe more weaponry will be needed later...

Sorry for the blurry pics, i depleted enought my camera cells to use the macro function.

    More soon, i promise.

Well at last, a sort of update:

Little antennas, more of theese will be present on the final mod.

A lot of different drwas and sketches are needed to get an aproximation of the problems to come in the construction stage.

A little of 3D inspiration, to check shapes and scale down measures.

    More soon.

    Real fitting test:

Wires must be sleeved and properly splitted and fixed, but you can imagine the look.

Inside, plenty of room without the PSu and wiring (and proyected tubing)

Up and running in the case. Both pods will be covered with the same faceplate.

I also have to think in some kind of covering for the messy wiring at the back

    More soon

Congratulations kumo, another really great barebone mod!!

Few people try to mod a barebone, it's very difficult, however, you make it easy.

    Greatings

    Thanks!

I don't think that a barebone mod is specially difficult, but maybe you must put more effort to gain the same impressive look than in bigger cases, because you can't use big components (at its normal size) and since common "eye-candy-easy-mods" like windows usually have no sense in this kind of cases.

You don't need more skills, you need more imagination, IMO.

PS: Coño, si acabo de ver que eres de Navarra y yo soltando el rollazo en ingles haha :)

    :D :D

I agree with you, my HTPC was more easy built than other proyects... but... ir isn't the same a barebone than a big o mid-tower.

    I will follow your thread!!

    Greatings

Pd: Prefiero escribir en inglés, así mejoro un poco que tengo un inglés horrososo (I prefer to write in english to improve my bad english)

    Making the base:

The base will be, naturally, a hex. Will be made of 5mm DM wood mostly, and probably will keep some surprise.

Drawing the hex. A not very casual comparison with a Epia board size...

The 2 covers for the hex case, that will be the base.

    More soon.

Thanks. Currently the work is stoped, waiting for some free time and other resources to resume the mod as soon as posible.
