If you use PayPal you can order direct from EkWaterBlocks
That's what I did. Took about 10 days to ship to the States..

First off very impressive work so far, the case looks great, next on the EKWaterBlocks did you have to pay any import tax, duties, or customs fees. I live in Oklahoma and before I order I was just curious, and again great job and thanks.

If memory serves, the EK-FC79 block (with the reg-cooler) was $90US and then another $13US for shipping to the States. I guess any taxes/duties are included in the shipping price..Worth every penny IMO.. :thumb:

www.watercoolingshop.com have them in stock for £50 and then like £5 shipping

but in all honesty id prefer to buy em from eddy ek as id prefer not to give EVEN more money to watercoolingshop to cover their heads etc etc, id prefer the cash to goto eddy.

when the DD block first hit the uk it was £100 or more, which imo is a complete bloody rip as the EK block is FAR nicer and performs alot better!

    Alu polishing: the preview

The size and design of this case dictates the use of an exhaust fan.
My weapon of choice is the EverCool 120mm Aluminum-body fan..
A nice fan..80CFM@2000rpm and it's Alu-body makes it stand out from the crowd. That said the finish could be better:
You know what comes next, aluminum-polishing..
I have a few-more beer's to drink, but later today I will start polishing the evercool's frame.
    Here's my "take" on aluminum-polishing:
    start off sanding..600grit-then 1000grit..
then move on to polishing compound:
    start with--black-compound (emery)
    next--brown-compound (tripoli)
    last--white rouge liquid polish..
You need a drill and polishing wheels to apply the compounds:
top--Sisal wheel (your ruff cut wheel)
    next--sewn cotton wheel (getting close)
    fin--loose cotton wheel (finally-done)..
It's obvious these wheels are new. It's a good idea not to over-use your wheels, you will end up adding scratches instead of polishing them out. The wheels are about $4US each..
Polishing Alu is not much-fun, but the final-product is: Close-to-Chrome!
When I wake-up with my hangover, I will began the process. This preview is my "how-to".. :thumb:
I will get the unit polished/assembled/installed and show you some pictures..
Installation also means cutting more M4 threaded-rod. Yet another "not-fun" thing to do.. BUT, what can U-do...
    Until next time:

OK. Lets "prime the pump" for Sundays agenda..
I will replace those brass-90's on the AC AquaDrive(M) with proper bent-compression fittings:
and run a little black Tygon:
then I have an idea for a bit-more green acrylic..
    stay-tuned:

    HD and H20 block:

Ok..Lets get the hard drive and it's h20 block installed.
Pretty straight forward stuff, although I did have to measure and drill the four mounting holes in the case to accept the HD.
I am having a bit of an "issue" with the tygon tube wanting to kink at the tight-bend..Perhaps some springs will help. That will have to wait for another day.
Next I cut a panel of 5mm green acrylic to go in front of the HD (press to fit, aka snap-in)..

This is a small detail..When all is "said and done", it will only be seen then the DVD drive's tray is open.
    Like this:
Bear in mind, the black acrylic plate for the DVD drive has yet to be window-tinted. When it's finished it will be completely opaque..

I am happy with the look of the HD cooler:
It extends the "skull-paint-theme" to the top of the case. I only need to find the answer for the tygon-kink problem..
    That's it..Until next time: :thumb:

just asking, but is it possible to get U-bend compression fittings, or even to connect two fittings (not necessarily compression) together to make a U-bend?

great work too btw, after seeing your use for the mesh, i've figured out a way to do something i wanted to do in my case

i'll be keeping an eye on this project

Welcome to the forum Sebbo. I have never seen U-bend fittings. I need a pair of 90-degree compression fittings, that should solve the problem. The ACryan meshX stuff is nice stuff. I have plans to integrate more into the project..

Probely you could use this types of fittings:

The rightangle fittings instead of the fittings which shown on the picutre, may fix your Problem.

Your case is realy awsome, i love your work. Go on.

    cheers b0nez

Beer and BBQ are very important things, agreed that time should be set aside for them.

    Welcome to the forums b0nez:
Thanks for your idea. I tried that, it ends up being about 15mm to-short and would hit the HD-cooler.
I did find an answer: Springs..
