Ok im planning on making a Plexi Case ive done all my research and everything but ive got one problem, which way to do it, should i do it like a case or do it like a cube i do not know. So can someone/people give me Pros and Cons of doing it either way.. Thanks KoSSoRi
Yea thanks man, but ive already seen all that, when i said ive done all my research i mean ive read nearly everything... i just dont know which case i want a cube or a normal ATX Plexi case.
Pros and cons....hmmm. Cubes are not as common as normal ATX style towers, for aluminum/steel cases that is. Seems that everyone who builds a plexi case makes a cube except for the Space Case of course. The cube could be built to take up less space. But really all of these things could be pros or cons, depending on how you like the looks of it. Is there anything that says it has to be a cube or a tower? What about an octagon or something? That would be new.
To tru im gonna look around see some different shapes and pick one.. it would be my first case that i build so i might try to keep it simple but now that youve said octagon or something then yea that could be a good idea and ive never seen one around..
what about a really massive plexi case, so you go in it and use your computer there, a desk and everything inside ur computer. that would be something new lol, being serious now, i think out of cube and tower, you should choose cube. but, it would be much better to make a different design case, such as octagon mentioned above. good luck, .icecube
I think I even saw a case once that was a big plexi 'X'. It was water-cooled and all....can't remember where I saw that. Someone probably has a link. But at any rate, there are other shapes. I think that was my point...
My plexicase. It might inspire you to make a special case.. http://m1.418.telia.com/~u41804344/lada.jpg http://m1.418.telia.com/~u41804344/lada1.jpg http://m1.418.telia.com/~u41804344/lada2.jpg http://m1.418.telia.com/~u41804344/lada3.jpg
jockeman, nice! I was about to suggest something like that, but I guess I won't. (yours was better anyway) My next suggestion is a low tower with a slanted front (like the enermax cases [ homer ] everyone is always talking about [ /homer ])
I hate that I can't find it online, but I know I've seen that in Maximum PC magazine. (great mag, poor page) it was kind of green, wasn't it? (in the mag it was on the same page as a round PC, and a russian-styled PC)
