Antec EPS Logo Bender386: Here is an ANTEC logo in EPS format, which I believe is a type of vector format that you could mess around with. Hopefully you have a program that can open it. Matt
if you want to rice up your car you add stickers with things like HKS NOS ect.. so why the hell not your pc. @mattthegamer463 do you want a screen shot or are you asking is that how i did it. what i did was dowload one of there banners of there sight then used a swf to fla converter to decompile it. next i copyed the logo out of the fla with flash mx and added the rest of the pictures with photoshop.
Illustrator has a tool called "Live Trace" (well, Illustrator CS2 has it, anyway); however, the results are usually...in a word, crap. You're going to have difficulty getting the outlines to actually look like the font -- which means spending inordinate amounts of time refining the curves the Live Trace tool provides. Something else you might try is this: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ Submit the image you have based on the font sample you pulled from the SWF and see what it returns...FYI, I tried it based on the Antec logo on their homepage, and I didn't find anything that was an exact match... One other option, depending on what you hope to accomplish, is to get someone to recreate the font for you: if all you have are the capital "A" and lower case "n", "t", "e", and "c", it'll be difficult to get a complete font set (too many missing curves); if you want just a vectorized "Antec" logo, I could help you with that... Just my two cents...
All right, I figured I'd do a little more than suggest a link to check out: here's my version of the Antec logo in vector form. http://www.hyperology.com/downloads/antec_logotype.zip I've included an Illustrator CS2 file and an Illustrator 10 EPS file: hopefully one or more will work for you... And if the whole point's already moot: oh well...
