heres something i decided to build to help me out in upcoming projects..this way i can test out stuff without always having to scavenge in the pc casing for unused molexes

ripping apart a old antec 350w..after a crappy paintjob some drilling n wiring we hv this :

hope u guys like it! :D

    Very cool
I often wondered about creating one of those. But haven't had the time. Love the yellow paint.

I've also made one of these,550W shoved it in a metal enclosure i had, very useful for testing everything.
Mine is rigged in to start with the on/off, the two sets of red and black are for 12V one with small jaw like ends, the other with multimeter tips. The rest are regular 4 pin molex and fan connectors.I even installed a temp sensor to know how cold it is in my "friggin" (*fridgin* ) basement lolll :hehe:
I strongly encourage anyone who's even mildly into modding to make one, you'll wonder how you did without it :D

thanks all...cool box Kobalt..was thinking a digital voltmeter would be a even better addition to it.

I just have an old AT powersupply running with all my server gear, it runs a few fans but when I need 12/5V it's there.

I just use my modded 120 watt Power supply for anything molex, and a snazzy 300w 0-60V adjustable power supply for anything else. My current case mod has some front mounted molex connectors so you can test out fans and curcuits on the fly.
